Scholarships of the Foundation

The Mannerheim Foundation was established to offer scholarships primarily to Finnish officers for extended further training abroad. The selection process considers the operational objectives of the Finnish Defence Forces.

The Foundation annually publishes the notice of scholarship applications via the Foundation’s website, in a defence-related journal, and, if necessary, in other national newspapers. The application window for these scholarships takes place in the autumn and usually ends at the end of October.
